Hi,

connecting to a server using /server server.name 6668 works fine in XChat2
(W32 2.0.4).
But how do i connect to a server using the serverlist, if not using the
default port 6667?
Specifying a server in the serverlist server.name:6668 ends up in nameserver
lookup problems.
What do i have to do?

Regards,
Sascha Jopen

ok, sorry if that sent twice, I seem to have been sleep walking through
that email. What I meant to say was:

add a server in edit mode to what ever network you want to connect to
as:

blah.ircnetwork.net/6600

sorry for not paying attention,

in edit mode just add the server name/port number

like server blah.ircnetwork.net/6600

that should have you join the server on the slected port.

Thank you, using / as seperator instead of : works fine.
(But it would be more standard compliant using :)
