UULug 5 jaar + gemakkelijk draadloos

Een gezellig arvontje, toch.
Ik ben aan het boodschaapen en heb een linux magazine gekokt.
Daarin lees ik gemakkelijk draadloos, erg interesante.
So installed RH9 with updates, followed recipe, and out of the oven came a
soufle (well flambe anyway).
It looks quite promising, but I have a mystery eth1.
I append a few root commands for some light reading below.
Probably the fine manual on Redhat Network config scripts will cast some
light on this.
But in the meantime maybe you guys have some insight?

ik heb hetzelfde magazine gekocht ... en ik had ook zoiets van waar de
F*** is mijn wlan0..
ok .. hier is wat ik gedaan heb zodat mijn wlan kaart werkt...
ik heb GEEN driver gebruikt!!
ik heb simpelweg de vanilla kernel gebruikt met de built in driver.
en toen stond er een eth1 wat ik HEEL simpel heb geconfigureerd zoals elke
normale netwerk kaart ..
en het werkt allemaal PERFECT(beetje traag als je 100Mbits gewend bent)!!!!!
maar die tools dus wat ze in de magazine noemen die werken niet echt
aangezien ze op zoek zijn naar een bepaalde wlan0
maar zoals ik al zei, heb je die tools niet eens nodig !

If you bought the magazine, you also bought yourself the right to ask
"reader questions" (I know, because I write for the magazine and I get a
bunch of those questions myself frequently to answer). Just send off
your question to the magazine and they will forward it to the author of
the article...
