Hi all,
Does anyone have any tips for getting a beamer to work with a linux
laptop. I have a toshiba SP2100 with Redhat 9. The thing works fine.
However I can't output X to a beamer using Fn-F5 this works during boot
but breaks when X starts.
Cheers,
Rob

Perhaps framebuffering might help.

Kind regards,

hi,
it appears that the video card in the laptop is an NVIDIA® GeForce4 ™
420 Go.
my idea is that you could use nvtv to use the beamer as a "tv", OR, to
use xinerama to get dual view, cause that looks like the reason why it
doesn't work.
hope that will help !
