BIG PROBLEM!!

I logged onto my computer as a root and I had root privilages. Yet when I
tried to enter the directory fd - the one which contains entry.s - it gave me
an error message that I can not enter this directory and it gives me an error
similar to the one below:-

Do not have permission to open this directory.
I am trying to make a system call and I can not do that.
Any suggestions?
