Woke up today blessed with the feeling of grace, not sure why. Maybe it's because God's watching over me. Maybe it's because of my wonderful family and friends. I need to say "Thank you" to all of you. Keep your faith in God everyone, I'm going in in 2 hours, they found 12 rapid grown lumps (doubled in size in 10 days) and they're going to try and cut them all out. I let you know when they're done. Paula, Thank you so much for thinking of me. I'm told the surgery went well, they got 14 of those pesky lumps. Hoping to know on Monday, of the lab results. God has been very good to me, helping me through the surgery and all the pain.  I just have to keep praying and knowing he still has plans for me before I join him. This time has been much easier for me. The last time waiting for results was almost as bad as being told of the LMS. The worry, not sleeping, fear of the unknown was so hard for me to deal with. Seeing the fear in my families face's was even harder. This time I didnt tell my family about the surgery, I felt it was best not to let them worry. And you know for me it has been much easier not having to tell them or have them worry. Its allowed me to come to a point where I haven't even thought about it much. Guess for me knowing God is with me in this struggle I feel so blessed with his grace. Everyones prayers I know have been heard. Then when I get the results, and they come back clean, I will have saved them from unnessesary worry.   Keep your dragon slaying swords handy, you just never know when those suckers will come back.  Roger

 Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers. God does answer those who pray. The results show each lump/tumor was removed with clear margins. WOOO HOO!!! Can't complain with those results, now on to living and loving each and every day. Thank you again, each and everyone of you. Roger

Roger, Congratulations on good news.  I'm interested about your lumps.  I was at Sloan the other week and he said I had a fatty lump but not to worry about it, it didn't need to come out and it wasn't cancer.  Why did you get yours out and where were they if you don't mind?   I'm beginning to think that this is a symptom of this cancer because others have said they had lumps also.  Is that so?  Just curious.  I just found out 6 mos. NED. Linda

Linda, My lumps this time were both of the fatty type and LMS. Initially my lumps showed up on my forearm as fatty tissue (lipomas). The next time the lump showed up 1yr later was in the same place but was LMS. This time the lumps showed up on my back at my belt line. They, as in 14 grew very fast and became painful. Others on here can speak to the symtoms of the lumps better than I. And I have to also let you know I dont have a fancy cancer center to go to or a cancer Dr. either, too far to travel from rural Wyoming and I dont have insurance. I do have a surgeon who I guess you could say I trust my life with and I do my homework as best I can. This is a great forum to share info with, and if anyone wants to talk more feel free to message me and I'll share my phone number and we can talk. It would be nice to visit sometimes with others who know what we are dealing with. I personally dont like to share with my family mainly because they dont handle it very well. Anyways I hope that helps Linda and congrats on the 6mo of NED. Roger
