A one-page weekly river status briefing that contains pertinent navigation notices, problem areas for navigation, dredge status, channel marker status, current river stages, forecasts, risks and recently constructed river training structures.
Locks within the Rock Island District may close throughout the year due to high water or scheduled/unscheduled maintenance. The District will update this site regularly (Monday-Friday) with available information regarding the status of each lock. Prior to the new law's passage, even if Guard members served for 20 years or longer they were not deemed veterans unless they served on active duty. That included those serving in an Active Guard and Reserve status.
"They could have served 20 years as [AGR] but that wasn't considered qualifying time," said Krenz, adding that veteran status was specifically linked to serving on federal orders, rather than on state orders.
Generally, spouses need to have lawful permanent resident status before naturalizing. To apply for adjustment of status the spouse must file Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, and the service member must file Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, including the biometrics fee.
This should have been explained in your finance Sep briefing. Your final paycheck is always held, which adds things like "status det" and "held pay" to your LES, showing a zero paycheck. The final pay is manually computed and released by your servicing finance. 100% are audited; it's not random or unexpected.

Question: What is a personal appearance hearing?
Answer: A personal appearance hearing is conducted by a panel of senior active duty officers in Arlington, Virginia. You may appear before the panel in person, be represented by counsel, make a statement, provide witness testimony, and present documentary evidence on your own behalf, related to your military service and/or your post service achievements. You are strongly urged to provide the Board with documentary evidence pertaining to post service accomplishments related to work, school, letters of reference, your resume, community or any achievement that enables the Board an opportunity to more thoroughly evaluate your after service record. After the hearing, the Board sends a written decision by mail to your current address. If you move before you receive a decision on your application, please provide your new address and phone number by email to army.arb...@mail.mil or by mail to Army Review Boards Agency, Discharge Review Board, 251 18th Street South, Suite 385, Arlington, VA 22202-3531.

Answer: Decisions are sent in writing by U.S. Postal Service (USPS) mail to the address you provided on your application. If you move before you receive a decision on your application, please provide your new address and phone number by email to ARB...@hqda.army.mil or by mail to Army Review Boards Agency, Discharge Review Board, 251 18th Street South, Suite 385, Arlington, VA 22202-3531. If your discharge is upgraded, your new DD Form 214 will be mailed separately from the records correction agency approximately 120 days after the decision is issued. The DD Form 214 will not be forwarded by the USPS so it is important that your address be up to date with the Board.

I have requested my army medals and received a letter acknowledging my request and saying they would be sent soon. I try to trace the order, but then am using the confirmation numbers given but then am told no such order exists. What has happened to the medals I ordered and was told were being sent?
