Free Online Symposium on Library Services for the Native American Community

Please join the San Jose State University School of Information for its free online symposium on Monday, November 29, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Pacific Time, celebrating Native American Heritage Month.

 

The symposium is entitled “Bridging the Past and Future: Improving Library Services for the Native American Community” and will feature a keynote address by Ashley Minner, assistant curator for history and culture at the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian, and two panel discussions focusing on the diverse voices of the Native American community and best practices in library services.


The symposium will be recorded and posted to the iSchool's website and YouTube channel.
