Hello,
Over the past few years I have ordered 100's of pizza's and fries and also coca cola (soda) cans from mainly two different snack bars.
One snackbar delivers "Coca Cola Classic" with my order. It's a slightly more purpishly red can shiny silverish (no silver it's just a bit more shiny).
The other is a "restaurant" also snackbar like and delivers "Coca Cola Original Taste" a very red can.
The local super markt sells "Coca Coca Original Taste" the classic version is missing. There is also cherry coke but that is something different.
So now I am wondering where this "Coca Cola Classic" comes from where it's sold and also if there truely is a different taste ?!
I believe so. However I am not sure. It could be that these Coca Cola Classic cans are simply older and maybe that causes the slightly different taste.
It could also be that "Classic" contains slightly more sugar, or less acids.
I find the original taste to taste a little bit more "acid" like... and I don't like that.
The classic has a slightly more smoother/nice taste.
I've been thinking about performing a test on myself and other people to see if me and they can truely taste the difference.
The difference is small, but I notice it, or at least I believe so.
It could also be that the color of the can effects the taste, then this would be a psychological effect. However I don't think so. I think the formula's are slightly different.
Or perhaps there is a slight change in production method which makes it taste a bit better.
(Personally I think all super markets should sell both and then see which ones sell best ! =D)
(I also worry that the "original taste" contains more acids like maybe aspartaam, the packing says it contains only "sugar", but maybe that is a well kept lie by Coca Coca Company, not sure though, so this is also one of my worries)
Bye for now,
Skybuck.

Ja zeg, kan je effe aanwijzen welke verpakking je bedoeld?

The large amount of cocaine in the "classic" should give it a more
bitter taste. If not, you've been ripped off!

I just ordered some more and ask the snackbar where they get the coca cola from.
They did not know there is any difference, but they did say they buy it from Germany.
This time the label "classic" is missing and it says "original taste" but the paint on the car is different, it's more shiny...
Kinda strange... also the date on bottom shows 2021 instead of 2022.
Maybe they gave me this instead of the classic one after phoning them or not... not sure...
Also the graphics is slightly different, green indicators... the dutch version doesn't have that... assuming it's made in the Netherlands... hmm... I suspect maybe the dutch secretly add a bit of aspertame to cut costs, I hope not.
(Also what makes me paranoid is 7-up does have aspertame in it since a few years, it's on the label/ingredients, while coca cola says "sugar")
This is kinda a bit mysterious ! =D
Bye for now,
Skybuck.

Doei,
Skybuck.

O, that has been sent back from there by Mart McFly in Back to
the Future VII! (The 2022 stuff was from when Buck Rogers traveled
around that spinning black hole.)
