Neem -olie tegen meeldauw; iemand ervaring mee ?

reeds enige tijd zoek ik methodes om de valse en echte meeldauw te
bestrijden bij mijn druivelaars op biologische wijze.Door de natte
jaren de laatste tijd met wisselend succes echter.
Via een search op internet kwam ik Neem olie tegen ( komt van de zaden
van de Neem-boom )
Heeft iemand hier al ervaring mee en vooral kan je het In Belgiė
ergens kopen (of in Nederland)?

Dat gaat over komkommerachtigen, en al eerder kwam hier
verdunde melk voorbij, 'verrijkt' met een beetje dunne olie,
zoals arachide- of zonnebloemolie. Vooral als hechtmiddel en
wsch als extra barriere tegen schimmels.
Vorig jaar deze tijd quotte ik ook ene David, met nog een
ander recept:

Neemolie lijkt me nogal exotisch. India?

MANILA, May 08 (PNA) -- Botanical pesticides offer a more
sustainable and environment-friendly approach to control aphids in
pepper. Aphids are tiny insects that can do significant damage to a
number
of vegetables, particularly pepper, by sucking the plant's sap.
Aside from causing heavy yield losses, these insects serve as
vectors of viral diseases.
Over the years, the regular use of chemical pesticides enabled
aphid populations to become insecticide-resistant. Use of new
formulations only compounded the problem.
M.V. Seredica of the Central Philippine University in Jaro, Iloilo
City, evaluated the efficacy of neem oil, a botanical pesticide, in
the
control of green aphids.
The research study was coordinated by the Philippine Council for
Agriculture, Forestry and Natural Resources Research and Development
(PCARRD).
Results indicated that aphid population was reduced in pepper
treated with neem oil at 1,500 parts per million.
Neem is a tree species whose leaves and seeds are known to have
anti-feedant, repellant, and insecticidal properties.
The repellant property of neem is attributed to its active
principal, azadirachtin, which exhibits a systemic mode of action
against aphids.
The neem tree is a slow-growing tree with an often crooked trunk,
native to India. It is found largely in Africa, South Asia and has
been
recently introduced to Central America and the Caribbean.
Neem tree does well in subhumid to semiarid conditions without
irrigation and very little rainfall. One of the world's largest
plantations is in Saudi Arabia, where approximately 50,000 trees have
been planted on the Plains of Arafat.
The tree has long been known for its insecticidal properties; the
extracts from the neem control over 250 pests, including whiteflies,
aphids, mealybugs, mites, and termites.
Neem also can protect several ornamental and food crops against
fungus diseases such as rusts and powdery mildew that attack

Als je dit zo leest lijkt neem wel superspul te zijn. Een paar jaar
geleden werd er door het WDR-programma Hobbythek een uitzending aan
gewijd. Neem wordt ook in zeep verwerkt en in tandpasta.
Maar waar kun je het hier krijgen??

Neem is een insekticide, het werkt niet tegen schimmels. Het mag dan wel
een natuurlijk wondermiddel zijn. Het is in feite gewoon een breedwerkend
gif. Zoals we dat kennen uit de chemische bestrijdingsmiddelen. En die
zijn zelfs meeestal selectief als ik het goed heb begrepen. Breedwerkend
betekent: doodt alles, dus ook nuttige insekten. Wees dus een beetje
sceptiesch over dit wondermiddel.
Tegen meeldauw helpt, rechtstreeks vanuit het keuekenkastje, het zout
bekend als: bakpoeder, rijsmiddel of maagzout van Gimborn. Let wel op de
dosering het is een zout. Als je over doseert gaan de cellen van het blad
er kapot van.

onderzocht door het Henri Doubleday Reseeach instiuute, een intsitituut
dat onderzoek doet voor de biologische moestuin in Engeland.

Maagzout tegen Meeldauw
Bij de drogist vragen naar; Natrium-bicarbonaat (meestal merk: Gimborn),
ook wel bekend als rijsmiddel voor gebak, bakpoeder is ook
natrium-bicarbonaat. Daarvan 20 gram en 20 gram zachte
zeep (als uitvloeier) op een liter water. Toepassen bij Amerikaanse
kruisbessen-meeldauw wanneer de eerste witte plekken zichtbaar worden. Om
de 14 dagen herhalen. Mogelijk ook effectief op
andere vormen van meeldauw, bijvoorbeeld bij rozen.
Werkt ook tegen ander schimmel aantastingen.
