When I try and load the cache manifest ( ) into the browser the file is displayed correctly but when I try to load the page once offline I get the "Unable to connect" error page. Again, that just happens on Firefox and Opera.

I have an Android 2.3 Gingerbread and have installed Opera Mini. I used it to save many useful pages for offline viewing and I want to save the links of the pages in a text file. So I need to find the place where the links of the saved pages are stored.

Path to Saved Page data given above may well be correct; or possibly... / mnt / asec / com.opera / lib (or possibly folder "lost+found ?). Problem is, as stated, the location is inaccessible without fraught rooting procedure (ES File Explorer declares the directories to be empty for example).

Saved pages are stored in Opera Mini's private file directory, which is /data/data/com.opera.mini.android/files/. They are saved in Opera Binary Markup Language (OBML), and you will need root privileges in order to access them.

Passwords Not Saved Between PCs By Default: Opera stores passwords in such a way that they are encrypted in a way tied to current PC's operating system, the same issue Google Chrome has. While the passwords are not kept or left behind on the PC itself, they won't be retrievable when you move to a new PC. You must sync your password to Opera in order to preserve them as you move PCs or upgrade operating systems.

Recently, Opera announced their experimental next generation browser for the Desktop called Neon. While it has the same rendering engine "Blink" as their mainstream browser Opera, the user interface has been steamlined. Here is how you can download the full offline installer for the Opera Neon browser.

The official download page of Neon offers an online installer stub which then downloads the browser. The online installer always downloads the latest version when you launch it. This is a good solution, but it requires an active Internet connection and utilizes your bandwidth on every PC you need to install it on. If you need to install this browser on multiple PCs quickly or deploy it offline, the online installer is not suitable.

In this case, it is a good idea to download the offline installer. Instead of downloading the setup on every PC, you can download it once and then install it everywhere. The offline installer is also helpful if you use some expensive or limited mobile Internet data plan.

As of this writing, Neon is available for Windows and Mac. Opera Software has no plans yet to release a Linux version. I was not able to find the offline installer for Mac (as I do not own one), so if you find a link, please share it in the comments.

I have windows 10 and was going to open opera but as I opened it, Kaspersky internet security detected it as a Threat! I know for a fact that opera browser is legit and that Kaspersky internet security is detecting it as a trojan but not blocking it as it is a false positive! I still don't understand why a perfectly safe computer program would be detected as a threat when opera is one of the most popular and safe web browsers on the internet. I hope this response brings an awareness to the issue of this false positive and i hope whoever sees this has a great day!
