I got this from the web, maybe it will hel you......
----- start ------
Here are some non-printed tricks you can do with your older SC150 scanners.
Battery Check - With power off, hold down WX and L/O buttons and turn power
back on.
Will show battery indicator and digital read-out of battery voltage. A
reading of 1.70 to
1.95 will show if power is connected, 1.60 to 1.66 with power disconnected
and fully charged
battery, and a reading of 1.40 and under should give you a low battery
warning.
Press SCAN button to return to normal operation.
NOTE: The following features will ERASE the scanner memory and reset to
default status.
Rest to default - With power off, hold down 2, 9, and HOLD buttons and turn
power back on.
Will clear all presets and lock-outs and set the scanner to default status.
Read-out Diagnostics - With power off, hold down 2, 9, and L/O and turn
power back on.
Will run a visual loop of all LCD read-outs on the screen. Run Reset to
Default feature to
return to standard operation.
Test Frequency Memory - With power off, hold 2, 9, and PRI buttons and turn
power back on.
Will put the following frequencies in memory channels 1 through 21
(*=Priority Channel):
1.)30.0500* 2.)40.8400 3.)49.9000 4.)138.1500 5.)162.4000 6.)173.2250
7.)406.8750 8.)453.2500 9.)511.9125 10.)108.5000 AIR 11.)118.8000 AIR*
12.)127.1750 AIR 13.)135.5000 AIR 14.)157.8000 15.)482.3625 16.)29.0000
17.)54.0000 18.)806.0000 19.)857.2000 20.)911.5000 21.)954.9125*
Will also work using 2, 9, and SCAN buttons.
Run Reset to Default feature to erase memory again.
Alternate Test Frequency Memory - With power off, hold 2, 9, and (.) button
and turn power
back on. Will put the following frequencies in memory channels 1 through 17

7.)410.0000 8.)460.0000 9.)510.0000 10.)54.0000 11.)109.0000 AIR*
12.)118.0000 AIR 13.)127.0000 AIR 14.)135.0000 AIR 15.)810.0000 16.)860.0000

Hi Dave,
Nice to hear your problem is solved. Only shame is that all memory is
cleared now, so you have to re-program everything that was in the memory.
Good luck scanning!!!
