Red hair occurs naturally in 1–2% of the human population. It occurs
more frequently (2–6%) in people of northern or western European
ancestry, and less frequently in other populations.
It is associated with fair skin colour, lighter eye colours (grey, blue,

To be honest, I think a red headed child has enough to worry about

child will never hear the end of it, let alone need therapy at Christmas!
Let’s examine this word red to get an understanding of what Messianic
context which we can also apply here. If we can examine the Hebrew word
for red which is found in the Hebrew concordance, where we can get a
clearer picture. The term red found within verse [Genesis 25:24-26] is
the Strong’s Hebrew number #119
#119: ‘adam aw-dam’ to show blood (in the face), i.e. flush or turn
rosy:–be (dyed, made) red (ruddy).
As you can see from the word it denotes a the colour red, it also does
convey showing red in the face. Lets compare this word red here with
another person in the scriptures, who was also called ruddy, King David.
The Messiah is named in relation to King David {well-beloved; dear}: "I
am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning
star." [Revelation 22:16]
And he is being disdained by a Philistine {those who dwell in villages}
