Please allow me, buyer of BA/2000's v2.10a, to return this extremely
reasonable (original) abandonware-favor by briefly making available an
INF viewer for Windows:

http://home.uni-one.nl/m1/VIEW.ZIP

It's password-protected. The required password is the version number
of IBM's latest GA VIEW.EXE for OS/2, i.e. (without the quotes)
"3.070.11a". Open an INF file with the right OS/2 executable (which
may be called x:\OS2\IBMVIEW.EXE instead of x:\OS2\VIEW.EXE). The last
item in IBM's VIEW.EXE's Help-menu will show you the proper version
number(s). FWIW: this part, the former "IBM ObjectRexx for Windows
Development Edition" documentation viewer, never was explicitly
excluded from the full "Open Source" package. Unlike other parts, like
the ObjectRexx IDE (the RexxLA-idiots obviously accepted any condition
and seemed to have forgotten about OS/2 and this older part, but hey,
who cares about its biggest installed base and biggest user base?).

I actually used it when a possible VIEW.EXE-bug occured w.r.t.
printing TFMs, and NewView wasn't an option yet. Basicly it'll be of
no use to Microsoft-victims at all, but one may be able to e.g. check,
print, read, show or study ones OS/2 INF files at the office. It's
theoretically possible some required DLL still is missing, but this
one at least should start without an error message about a missing
DLL. It'll be a port of the OS/2 version, so don't expect exciting new
features you've never discovered before. Typical use: RTFM at the
boring office, or print (parts of) TFM at the office. I'm afraid it
doesn't come with a Boss-button... ;-)
