Dear Colleagues-It sounds like the current leadership and us all had planned to buy 25 mattresses for the school during this phase.Given the balance we currently have, what is the shortfall? Probably when the group knows, it will inspire some to come in and to chip in they little they can spare towards meeting the difference.
Steve I hear you but still don't believe that the solution is dissolving the current leadership committee. I remember what Ralph Kasambara's father used to advise us for his chichewa class that when we were in form two that when you find the exam question difficult, it will not be only yourself facing the difficulty but a good number of students. At this point, you just have to keep going like Johnny Walker.
Going forward, I would like to join the chair and his committee to appeal to us all to be a little patriotic and selfless. They say "blessed is the hand that giveth".Given the difficulties our economy is going through, even if people put in MK500, we would all understand. We still can move from where we are currently.
Have an enjoyable week!

I think ada Mphande is right. Let us find out the cost of 25 matresses. Should there be a shortfall, let us all contribute towards that and make sure the stuff is delivered at school on a date to be proposed by the group. Sent from Yahoo! Mail on Android |
Dear Victor-I wish to join the chair, his committee and all other colleagues for making this powerful pledge. This is the spirit we need to show when dealing with this venture.
I am sure the Chair, Dan, Winner,Steve and others will get in touch with you soon on how to move the process forward.

Am equally pleased with the new momentum on contributions. Lets continue putting in something. The strength lies in numbers. The kwacha seem to be gaining and with tobacco season its likely to remain so. However the idea of buying now could be good or not depending on some analysis. For stability of price I would say lets buy and stockpile. But on the other hand, if we wait we might have more money and perhaps get a better price. Every new contribution is an addition and we should strive for the best. Lets put in anything we can abale. Thanks |
