Hello everyone!

 

On behalf of the NKFN Executive, we wish everyone a very happy new year and a very successful semester!

 

As you may know, Activities Night is coming up tomorrow (Wednesday, 16th), from 4pm to 9pm in Shatner Building. We will have a table in the "Volunteer" section in the venue, so feel free to drop by and say hi! Also, if you have friends interested in joining us, don't hesitate to ask them to come talk to us!

 

Besides, our first event for this semester - Welcome Reception, will take place next Wednesday (January 23rd) from 6:30pm to 8:30pm (Location TBA). We'll be screening a documentary and serving pizza. For new members, this is a good introduction to our club and to the NKHR crisis; and for returning members, this is a good opportunity to refresh memory or to have a more detailed understanding of the human rights condition in North Korea. Therefore you shouldn't miss it!

 

Furthermore, NKFN is recruiting new executive positions for this semester! The following positions are vacant and we are looking for instrested members to fill in the positions of:

- Vice President Communications

- Vice President Administration

More details will be announced in the next email.
