Parents and Youth,

Below you will find the dynamics and the PDF you will be using to register for this upcoming YFL Youth conference in Maryland.  If you have not done it yet. Please work as a team with your Parents/Youth in filling this out, take your time and  both be thankful with each other as we journey on this with Christ. .  As of now we do not have the information for the bus.  I know we have reserved it already, I will let you know as it becomes available.  I would like to encourage 'all' Youth should  take the bus.. Except, for the Parents would like to drive their own kids there and the service teams that are needed couple of days prior as they will be fixing and preparing the place.  (Only a Few and Only the Service team) from New Jersey who's 18 yrs and up... Any below 18 yrs of age,  Take the bus with us, for safety and many reasons 'Parents please take a note on this.

Central, If you guys are done filling out the forms you may send it to us via postal mail or you can just drop it off in our mail box or stop by and we'll have a cup of coffee and a donuts this is fine also. :-)

Hello Area Conference Coordinators (or designees):
 
Now that the YFL National Conference is over, we are in full speed mode with co-planning the upcoming ‘2013 CFC YFL East Coast Echo Conference’.
 
As this year’s host, we invite your youth to this conference and welcome them to Maryland!
Details regarding nearby accommodations for family, program, etc will soon follow. However attached are the registration and waiver forms. Since the camp site is occupied with other groups for that weekend, we are limited to 190 attendees. Should we exceed the maximum capacity of 190, we need to secure nearby lodging to accommodate the overflow.
Below is preliminary information to share, including the website of the venue.
Information:
When: Friday August 23th to Sunday August 25th, 2013
Where: Summit Lake Christian Retreat Center in Emmitsburg, Maryland http://www.summitlake.org/
Registration: $120 (Early Bird) / $140 (after August 10th). Space limited to 190, so take advantage and have your youth register now…
 
Ø  2 nights lodging in bunkhouse-style cabins (each with capacity of 15, with youth service team or parent volunteers assigned to each cabin)
Each must bring toiletries, towels, linens, blankets, pillows and/or sleeping bags

Ø  6 meals (family-style) in dining hall
Ø  T-shirt
Ø  Activities around a 5-acre lake includes boating, basketball, fields (for softball, football, general use), sand volleyball, fishing (guests must provide own fishing gear), hiking (trail map in dining hall), swimming, and outdoor campfire areas

PROCEDURE FOR REGISTRATION
 

Note: Since we do not have a website for on-line registration nor are we providing bank account information for deposit, we will follow similar registration procedure used for the YFL National Conference:
 
1.        Each participant fills out the Conference Registration & Waiver Form.
 
2.        The participant submits the completed form to the Area Conference Coordinator/YFL Coordinator together with the registration fee.
 
3.        All payments made payable to CFC-FFL .
 
4.        The Area Conference Coordinator collects all the completed registration form and payments and forwards them to the Host Area Conference Coordinator (See name and address below). If desired, groups or batches of registrant information can be sent. For each batch, only one check from the Area made payable to CFC-FFL –MD/VA/DC will accompany the registration forms. The amount of the check will cover the registration fee for all the participants in that group/batch. For example, if the batch is 10 participants to the echo conference, the amount of the check would be $1,200 ($120 x 10). If the next batch of registrants is 50, then that check amount would be ($120 x 50) or $6000. Whatever makes it convenient and easier for the ACCs…
 
5.        Please send the registration forms and checks to: (once received, forwards to the Registration Team Coordinators for their tracking and accounting, etc)
