Brethren and  Parents,

Good day to all.  First and foremost special thanks to your prayers and support in our Youth Ministry,  Parents, Parent coordinators from NJ and all over.  

Let me report to you that the YFL Leaders National conference in Chicago was a success and very spiritual uplifting to both Youths and Adults who were present.  I wish all of you could have been there to witness all the good stuff.  The Praise and Worship and the Workshops were phenomenal and very educational. Not to mention the well trained speakers, and the Priests who gave the talks and  workshops.  I just remember when I used to dropped off my Kids to the public school a slogan says " A day absent in School, Is a Day Lost Forever".  Forgive me I know how costly it is, but, I encourage everyone to take the opportunity to send your Youth to the conferences.  Let's brain storm on how we may be able to help each other out to send them at the less burden? Next year 2014 conference is in Houston Texas.

As we are in the process of reconstructing our beloved New Jersey Youth Ministry, In the means of "DoingThe Right Thing"  and all should be aligned in the mission and vision of our  CFC FFL and YFL (Youth) community, "Christ Centered" as possible.  We Partners as  Parents and Guardian  to our Youth, our work with them is just starting, we still need your support and guidance as we go along in the process.  We will also be aiming "Back To Basic", we will be introducing series of spiritual teachings to your Youth.  Wow, I have seen and never realized that all the manuals and lesson plans are so many.  I didn't  even realized they exists.

It is very critical and  essential in considering in Youth becoming a Leader in the  selection process, Their PFO pastoral track formation  should be up to date, so Parents, encourage your Youth to attend every or any opportunity when there are spiritual teachings in our Youth Ministry.  We were thought in our FFL  community that we can not give if we have  nothing to give in the means of spiritual knowledge and wisdom, spiritual nourishment will be our guide in the doing the right thing.  We can no longer appoint  a Youth leaders based on how cute or how tall or how popular they are, we will seriously consider them on the following:

(H - umble, O - bedient, L - eadership, Y- outh).  We need to examine their hearts, we need someone that can lead the flock close to holiness, "Christ Centered".  Their visibility, being on time, up to date to the teachings, meetings and  assemblies, in other words "Attendance" is required...  Diversified and self adopting On the go mission ready and supportive to CFC FFL (Couples) assemblies representing the YFL Youth by helping or giving assistance most specially to our KFL Kids  Ministry as a Hearts Champ on their respective home base CFC FFL(Couples)  Chapters.

We need someone that can be a big bothers and big sisters to the young youth, when things are getting out of hand, elder youth or anyone in the Ministry becoming rowdy and acting inappropriately, or out of control, they can step up and keep peace and order and be a mentor to them in a good moral conduct.   A leader knows how to empower members, knows how to delegate if he or she will not be able to do what they have asked and volunteered to do and be responsible enough to let the team and the Parent coordinators knows before hand rather than keeping everyone hanging in the process..

Parents,  These are just the tip of the iceberg, so much to do.. As your partners and all the Parent Coordinator all over the community takes all of it seriously and very passionately..  I never hear any complaint when we had the Parent Coordinators Workshop.  I never heard from anyone on how tired we are after a long driving some of them came from the State of Washington, nothing but happy to server your youth...  They just wanted to give more back to the Youth even though we are not getting pay to do the Youth services as we only wanted to give back to the Lord. " We are not only just a Parent Coordinators" to the Youth we also coexists with them in serving our future Leaders not only in this community  but rather a Leader to all Nations of God and under God.

With all of this are said, we are still obliged to the Wisdom, Guidance and Protection of the Holy Spirit, may it  be with all of us and with our beloved Youth.
