The Second International Conference on Knowledge Science, Engineering
and Management (KSEM'2007)

KSEM'2007 is the second in this series, which builds on the success
of
the first international conference on knowledge science, engineering
and
management (KSEM'2006) in Guilin, China. The aim of this
interdisciplinary conference is to provide a forum for researchers in
the broad areas of knowledge science, knowledge engineering, and
knowledge management to exchange ideas and to report state of the art
research results. You are invited to submit papers that are original
and
not yet published. Papers on the synergism of knowledge science,
knowledge engineering and knowledge management are especially
welcomed.
The topics of interest include but are not limited to:

* Knowledge Science
- Knowledge representation and reasoning
- Logics of knowledge; formal analysis of knowledge; reasoning about
knowledge
- Knowledge complexity and knowledge metrics
- Commonsense knowledge; nonmonotonic reasoning
- Uncertainty in knowledge (randomness, fuzziness, roughness,
vagueness, etc.)
- Reasoning about knowledge in the presence of inconsistency,
incompleteness, context-dependency, etc.

Paper submission deadline 30 June, 2007
Notification of acceptance 15 August, 2007
Camera-ready paper due date 15 September, 2007
Conference 28-30 November, 2007

Paper Submission:
Papers must be submitted electronically as a PDF file through the
conference web site http://www.deakin.edu.au/scitech/eit/ksem07

Paper Length and Format:
Submissions must not exceed twelve (12) pages including title page,
references, and figures. They must be formatted according to the
Springer LNCS/LNAI instructions (see
http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html).

Conference Proceedings:
The conference proceedings will be published by Springer as an LNAI.
