Hey everyone,
It's time to start thinking about getting on your bikes and doing some serious training for the 10th annual NJ Ride Against AIDS. We are very fortunate to have training ride leaders throughout the state so that you can train on various terrains and really get ready for the Ride iteself.

For those interested in training rides up in the Sussex County area, below are the upcoming training rides that will always meet at the Andover Aeroflex located at 265 Limecrest Rd.,  Andover NJ 07821 at 8:30 am. Rob Meredith is the ride leader for these rides and his cell is 973 271 4351 and his e-mail is r.mer...@njas-inc.org. Please RSVP to all rides at least 3 days before the actual training date.

June 5
June 26
July 17
August 21

The first Ride (June 5) will be an easy 18 miles, flat, one or two smallish hills. Second ride (June 26) will have more hills and be about 25 miles. The third Ride (July 17) will have more hills and be about the same amount of miles. The last ride( August 21) will be the first half of the first day. Approx 45 miles… many hills and lots of flats.

For those of you interested in training down at the shore, Chris Giberson will be leading a training ride on Saturday, June 4th. It will be a 32 miler leaving from Convention Hall in Asbury Park to Atlantic Highlands and back. To RSVP to Chris, please email him at cgib...@optonline.net.

For all training rides, please remember: helmet, hydration, nutrition, money for snack stops, extra tubes, tire levers, CO2 cartridges or small bike frame pump. Please be sure that your bikes are tuned up and ready to ride with the correct psi pressure in your tires.

If you have any questions about the Ride, your bike, how to train, etc., please contact me at 908.581.8273 or email at car...@embarqmail.com.

Also, please be aware that Pete's Bike & Fitness Shoppe gives 10% off for any bike accessories, gear or apparel that you might need. Also as we get closer to the end of September, they will check over your bikes to be sure that they are ready for the 3 day trek from High  Point to Cape May. More info on that to follow in the near future.

Happy Trails.
