You might think that is sounds silly, but why doesn't the Region come up
with a figure that they would like to always have in the contingency fund. A
minimum. So, say we think $500 is enough to cover our losses if we ever have
bad weather for a conference again. Set it up so that the contingency fund
can only carry over $500 from year to year. Then they can put the additional
money towards the students. Whether it be through scholarships to attend
Region I or National Conferences or Student Lead-ons. Or it can be towards
getting professional speakers to attend. Whatever they want. That is just my
thought.

The Northeast Regional Dodgeball Tournament at Rowan University early
bird deadline has been extended to November 27th due to the Holidays.
The fee of $70 per team must be paid for by this date. This can be done
via check, credit card, debit, or cash. Registration info can be faxed
(856-256-4428) or emailed.
The cost after that deadline will be $85 per team on November 27th and
thereafter. NO Teams will be accepted after 5pm on Friday, November
30th.

This tournament is not just for institutions in Region I. Any teams are
welcome!
This is the 3rd year of this event and looks to be as exciting as ever!
The trophies for this year's tournament will be 4 feet tall! Champion
and Runner up shirts will also be available, as well as Tournament
MVP's, and Staff shirts for those volunteering to help. We are also
selling tournament shirts!
The same tournament format as last year and you can play in both a male
or female team and a co-rec team. In order to have a Division at least 4
teams need to be registered for the event.
Divisions available include: Men's, Women's and Co-Rec.
All information regarding registration, hotel accommodations, travel,
directions, and tournament rules and regulations are on the website.
