Dear Fabulous Youth Justice Advocates--

I just wanted to share that after nearly a decade, in March I will be transitioning from the advocacy/policy space back to program work that supports the development of restorative practices across the country.

I want to thank each and every one of you for being such exceptional partners, friends, and allies over the years--we have done some incredibly inspiring work together. Work that I will always be proud of and always want more of (smile)!

Gotta give a BIG shout out to Naomi Evans for co-chairing this space with me for so long--her work is above and beyond, and I couldn't ask for a smarter, kinder person to work with. Also want to thank the whole SC at NJJDPC for always being at the "ready" to sign off on statements and requests (Lookin at you--Jason Szayni, James Dold, Crystal Carpenter, Yasmin Vafa, Melissa Goemann, Jessica Feierman, and Carmen Daugherty).

I want to thank the awesome team at The Sentencing Project for being my home this past year and remaining committed to ending the transfer of youth into the adult system. And to Josh Rovner, Dick Mendel, and Sabrin Qadi for keeping the excellent work moving forward.

I also want to thank Impact Justice for hiring me to come back to community--and to expand transformative and healing practices across the country.

My new email will be mmis...@impactjustice.org and you all already have my cell (below).

Keep raising our voices together and seeing our kids for all their possibilities!

With Mad Love & Respect.
