Job Link: Click Link Additional details: This position serves as a key advisor to management and is crucial for research, monitoring, evaluation, and assessment of a wide variety of projects and activities. The Incumbent will develop and implement a range of research and evaluation systems to support the agency's objectives, particularly in preventing, intervening, and controlling juvenile delinquency and related matters. Manages and oversees state-level research and evaluation projects, ensuring accurate regulatory interpretation and professional judgment in their implementation. Initiates and monitors research projects for the Office of Strategic Planning and Performance Improvement (OSPPI), forecasts and defines issues requiring analysis, and designs research methods to assess program activities, products, services and delivery. Conducts research on best practices, keeping updated on procedures, laws, regulations, and industry standards, and developing survey research related to DYRS issues, including designing data collection tools and preparing survey data for analysis. The incumbent facilitates the division's research and analytical functions, develops strategies, reviews plans, advises on policy issues, analyzes program and policy documents, and ensures technical quality and consistency with current policies. The incumbent will collaborate with DYRS and District IT staff to enhance case management and data sharing, oversee strategic and operational planning, supervise rulemaking, manage grant applications, perform full supervisory duties, and ensure staff compliance with regulatory changes while recommending improvements to program efficiency. |
