We are now accepting applications for our Fall 2011 Recruitment Season.
If you would like to be considered for the Civil Engineer Trainee position and included in the Fall 2011 Recruitment Season, please submit by June 1, 2011, the following attached items:
- Signed and dated application
- Most recent copy of your transcripts (official or unofficial)
- Attached statements, if you answered “yes” to any questions on page 2 of the application
- Location preferences form
- Request for release of information and Background Check form
- Conditions of employment form
The qualifications to apply for CET positions at IDOT are as follows:
- United States Citizen or Non-Citizen with Permanent Work Authorization
· Graduate in the past five (5) years with a bachelors or masters degree in civil engineering from a college/university with an ABET accredited civil engineering program OR
· Graduate in the past five (5) years with a bachelors or masters degree in engineering from an ABET accredited college and be a Licensed Engineer Intern in the State of Illinois
· Possess a cumulative GPA no lower than 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent)
