Hello Everyone,

Here is some information about the design competition that will be going on during the upcoming SHPE Conference.

Here is the link for more information on the Design Competition.

Competition Summary: objective is to design a working model/prototype (this year the theme is Living Green); teams will need to design, build, have a cost analysis, and present at the conference in front of ~3 judges.

Right now Bryan Lopez is leading a team and looking for more team members, but he would need to meet with you by Friday morning (like common hour) cause the application is due Friday night. This would be for anyone who wants to be on the team and have a chance to go to the conference free. (Anyone; freshman, sophomore, junior, senior) This would be a full commitment to working on the design. Sorry for the late notice. If you are interested, respond by emailing Bryan at bl...@njit.edu early Friday morning.

He will also accept others who can only participate part of their time this year, so that they can be prepared for next year's design competition. [This group of students, he would need to know by a later date (before the end of the month)]
