I am in need of a desktop that can run Windows XP and has a parallel
port. Does anyone have one that is ready to go?

What is the application? Would it be possible to make use of a cheap
USB-to-parallel converter? Such as that available here, for $4.85
shipped - http://www.meritline.com/usb-to-db25-female-parallel-printer-cables---p-38486.aspx.

Ozmo,

Unfortunately it's for a laser cutter, and those converters don't work for it.
