Business Development Manager

Our client, a leader in the IT Asset Value Recovery field, is seeking
an Business Development Manager to join their team. As the Business
Development Manager, you will use your client relationship management
skills to identify and develop business relationships within specified
companies to target and engage influential IT Leaders.

Proven Experience establishing trust with clients and tracking long-
term sales will be essential to your success. Your ability to
penetrate accounts and maximize sales opportunities will result in you
being very well compensated and make you an integral part of our
organization.

This position is located near Newark, NJ and will require significant
(up to 75%) travel.

Responsibilities

· Identify key IT influencers and achieve designated call
expectations with a focus on top target customers

· Penetrate named accounts and acquire the timeline for when they
will be ready to retire their current IT assets

· Deliver presentations to Director level customers in territory
outlining the benefits and services of partnering with our company

· Understand and address the needs of our customers by engaging in
meaningful dialog to determine how our opportunity could benefit their
organization

· Tenaciously follow-up in person and via phone on previously
generated leads

· Consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales goals

· Maintain balance between strategic goals and tactical execution
in both customer retention and territory growth

· Analyze trends to effectively identify future business
opportunities within client base and build plans to address them

Requirements

· 3+ years verifiable success as a sales representative,
preferably within the pharmaceutical, hardware or channel management
sectors

· Proven success building and solidifying relationships with
Director level+ decision makers

· Commitment and passion for developing honest and ethical
partnerships with potential customers

· Technology savvy, with the ability to conduct high level
conversations surrounding IT assets

· Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the
phone

· Impeccable attention to detail, with the ability to
prioritize and manage a multitude of information
