DB2 LUW Database Administrator
In this role you will be accountable for designing, building, and tuning mission critical DB2 UDB ESE and DPF environments that are a part of our cutting-edge Health Information Exchange (HIE) platform and offerings. You will also be responsible for creating business cases for new technology, creating or improving standard operating procedures, implementation of new technology, and making new technologies. This role will provide day-to-day support for the DB2 LUW platform, and will include 24x7 on-call support on a rotating basis.
Our ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience as a DB2 administrator with strong AIX/Red Hat Linux/zLinux background along with 5+ years of database experience. 3+ years of scripting experience is also required. Experience in the healthcare industry and building data warehouses is preferred.
