HELP DESK OPERATIONS MANAGER: Must have previously managed a
helpdesk. Will manage a team of 5 agents. Need to understand account
mapping, parallel testing, and understand, define, and disseminate
routing procedures for tickets domestically and overseas. Need
ability to direct and supervise 4 help desk personnel. Participate
(as necessary) in providing technical (how to) support to a vast new
user community. Route calls to our client's appropriate subject
matter experts. Maintain help desk call tracking database Prepare
management reports. Maintain Lotus Notes groups for mailings
and communications. Proof manager, control designee, business unit
controllers, etc. Proof and control personnel (2 supervisors/400 proofs;
800 operating procedures), including financial personnel. Meet with
operating managers to identify our client's key initiatives. Determine
the help desk structure. Develop the appropriate help desk databases
and functionalities. Define the appropriate scripts. Establish and
maintain relationships with other existing helpdesk (such as LAN,
Mainframe and GAO Help Desk). Represent the FSI-Help Desk at on-going
management and customer meetings. Process and route all help desk
requests to the appropriate personnel. Work with the communications
group to insure the FSI-Help Desk technical information is published
timely in the weekly newsletter. Develop and provide timely management
reports, as necessary. QUALIFICATIONS: Need to be proactive and have
the ability to bring ideas to the table. Need knowledge of Corporate
Financial Systems (such as General Ledger) so candidate can quickly
learn the our client's Financial Suite (ViewDirect, STARS, FIRM, Finance
Gate). Excellent knowledge Office 97 suite; knowledge of Lotus Notes;
excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work in
fast paced environment; ability to work under pressure.
