The Role: Administrative Sales Support Specialist
The Location: Denville, NJ
Responsibilities:
Perform the significant responsibility of providing hands on
assistance to the outside Sales Reps, providing the team the support
necessary to close large deals and develop excellent client
relationships
Follow up with clients on projects currently in the pipeline and be
timely on providing status report updates
Own the market research function, qualifying prospects through online
research, emails and phone calls
Utilize your administrative and organizational skills to set sales
team appointments as well as presentations
Prepare the materials needed for client presentations and sales calls
Process purchase orders, coordinating with the production and
accounting departments
Provide logistical assistance, confirming product shipping and
receiving details
Maintain all sales tracking activity in a dedicated CRM program
Complete any and all special projects as assigned by the sales team
Requirements
1-3 years experience in a sales support environment. Experience in the
field of technology will give you an added advantage.
4 year college degree is desired but not mandatory. Courses in
business, accounting and marketing are desirable. Additional sales
training is helpful.
Pride in being known for having great process management, scheduling
and administrative skills
Comfort level with making cold calls, when necessary
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Access
Prior experience maintaining and tracking activity in a CRM system
Team player with the attitude that no job is too big or too
small...willing to lend a hand and provide support across company
departments
