I remember Cesar Chavez's 1968 "water-only" hunger strike. A small man with
little body fat, after three weeks Chavez's doctors urged him to end the
"fast." But for the intervention of soon-to-be-dead Bobby Kennedy, Gov.
Ronald Reagan would've let him starve to death. Chavez's health was ruined
as a result, yet he lingered on until his death in 1993...
