The New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness and Capital Health will
sponsor a two-day training course titled, Sport & Special Event Risk Management (AWR-167). The course will be facilitated by the National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security (NCS4) located at the University of Southern Mississippi and the Texas
Engineering Extension Service (TEEX), members of the National Domestic Preparedness Consortium (NDPC). There is
no-cost to attend this course.
Description
The course is designed to build sport and special event risk management capabilities for community-wide collaboration and mitigation. Through activity-based training modules, safety and security teams will increase their knowledge of planning, risk assessment, training, and continuous improvement practices. The expectation is for participants to return to their respective sport venues and coordinate the development or enhancement of a sport event security management system.
Description

Hamilton Twp, NJ 08619.
