IAFC Appoints Donna Black as Chief Executive Officer

The International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) is pleased to announce Donna Black as its new CEO.

 

Donna Black brings more than 29 years of fire service leadership experience, having begun her career in 1997 as a volunteer firefighter and advancing through both volunteer and career ranks. She has served as Fire Chief for the Town of Duck, North Carolina, since 2006.

IAFC Wildfire Programs – Fuels Reduction Funding Awards

These awards support fire and emergency response agencies implementing or expanding community fuels-reduction projects to reduce wildfire risk. Funding may be used for staffing, contracted services, mitigation PPE, and small equipment. Priority is given to departments partnering across boundaries and demonstrating financial need.
