All the Unbuntuian Out there

I am using Ubuntu 8.10 but I am not able to connect it to internet
through
a NTC 's CDMA phone. The CDMA phone is connected to my PC through
a whitle cable behind(for god's sake, it don't know the cables name
but
it is connected jsut above the monitors cable.

If you have answers, please let me know !!

OK, It should be a serial cable. (It used be serial cable in good old times) ;)

To connect to NTC try the following:
   wvdial
and post the error that comes by typing the following command in the terminal:
  dmesg | tail -100 > out.file
and attach the out.file in reply to this email.
