can someone explain to me what the advantage of supporting
the multiboot header is? i'm taking a look at some 9load alternatives,
and multiboot is by far the most complicated requirement nix
has over against plan 9.

this is inherited from 9k, and I guess it might be there for Linux, but
I don't know for sure.
