niwa website slowness, maintenance, and moves

There has been some discussion of the website slowness.  We are aware of this and have plans to move to another host by the end of this week.

For the past several months Bluehost has issued many maintenance periods. They do not offer a reason, but based on the lack of speed I suspect they are suffering growing problems and have not kept up with the need for capacity.

Bluehost issued a miantenance outage just a few moments ago.  It says the following:
"This email is notification of server maintenance tonight, 15 September, 2014, between 8:00 pm and 2:00 am MDT (UTC/GMT-6), for the server which hosts niwawriters.net. The maintenance will include approximately 30 minutes of downtime during this time."

So, if you attempt to login between 6pm and midnight tonight, you may encounter a server unavailable notification.  As it is scheduled for 30 minutes, please try again at a later time.  There is no ability for us to know when during that four hour window the actual maintenance will occur.
