Ive missed all the announcements about them retiring legacy PVE servers until this past weekend. All the articles I read on Google indicated they would fire up the newer platform (Survival Ascendant) with the better engine as soon as the other servers were wiped on Oct 1. But when I go into my Steam shop, I don't see any such game. Does any one know if their plans changed?

If there were any articles stating "they would fire up the newer platform (Survival Ascendant) the better engine as soon as the other servers were wiped on Oct 1" those articles were by uninformed writers, WC has never said that.

perhaps they just misinterpreted WC's sentences when he announced "the shutdown of the servers in conjunction with the arrival of the new ASA" they didn't specify the ASA date but someone who reads less carefully (or the careless word of mouth) thought they meant "at the same time"

I'm sure I am not the only one waiting to hear some news in regards to an official release date even if we don't see any gameplay.

I've been searching all over for any news, me & our tribe, especially with the ability to play with them across different platforms.

Sure reading the community crunch is a way to stay well informed on ASA news, but if we use common sense when it comes to any news regarding this upgraded version of the game, we'd be asking questions like....

We have some bad news and good news about Underworld Ascendant, the Kickstarted spiritual sequel to Ultima Underworld. Unfortunately, it won't be launching in time the September release date promised back at E3. The good news? You'll only have to wait two months. (Thanks Eurogamer.)

Ascendant is an action-RPG set in the Stygian Abyss, an underdark setting introduced in the Ultima Underworld series. Players will be able to explore a massive dungeon filled with competing factions, roving monsters, and deadly traps. The game emphasizes non-linear progression, which means you can explore its game world and complete a complex skill tree using whatever methods you'd like.

PlayFusion has just released gameplay footage of Ascendant Infinity, a game they say is the world's first in the "Adaption Shooter" genre. What is an Adaption Shooter you ask? In simple terms, it's an ever-changing FPS. With maps, objectives, teams, and events that are different each time you play.

In short, Ascendant Infinity is a 3v3v3v3 squad-based Adaption Shooter, where the objective is to retrieve and extract with the biocores, while fighting the other teams and the world around you. The game promises to challenge players by giving them a different experience each time so they must learn to adapt in order to survive.

As is becoming par for the course for games like this, cosmetics are also on show here, allowing you to choose from thousands of customizations so you can express your own sense of style on the battlefield.

Epic Games is pre-releasing the skin for those that do well in the Rise of Midas Cup and giving it away to the teams that make it to the top during the tournament. This guide will tell players everything they need to know about the Rise of Midas Cup event and its rewards.

[UPDATE] The Rise of Midas Cup has come to an end. Even though many of these tournaments allow players to get their hands on skins before their official release date, it seems that the Ascendant Midas skin distribution has a 30-hour delay, and it'll only be handed out to the top placed players once it becomes available in the Item Shop following the release of update v29.10 on March 26.

The Ascendant Midas will hit Item Shop on March 26 at 8 PM ET, but before then, gamers who want to acquire the new Midas skin will have the opportunity to get it a couple of days ahead of its official release date.

The Rise of Midas Cup will be available for solo players, and it will be set in the standard Battle Royale mode, not Zero Build. Even though the exact event schedule will depend on the player's region, the Rise of Midas Cups will be live on March 24. To check out the start time for a certain region, players should check out the Compete tab after logging into Fortnite.

The Ascendant Midas set cosmetics mentioned above will only be available for the top placements of each region. However, gamers can unlock The Rise of Midas loading screen simply by earning eight points in the tournament. Here is how well players must do in the Rise of Midas Cup in order to win the other Ascendant Midas set rewards:

As of now, Sony's The Dark Tower, Paramount's Friday the 13th reboot, Warner Bros.' Geostorm, 20th Century Fox's Hidden Figures and Paramount's Monster Trucks are all currently slated for release on January 13, 2017, so it makes sense that Lionsgate would steer Power Rangers away from such a competitive weekend. Now it will only face Universal's Untitled Mummy Reboot on March 24, 2017. Production is scheduled to begin early next year, under the direction of Dean Israelite.

Naomi Scott (Pink Ranger), RJ Cyler (Blue Ranger), Becky G. (Yellow Ranger), Dacre Montgomery (Red Ranger) and Ludi Lin (Black Ranger) have signed on to play the new Power Rangers. The reboot is described as a modern-day reinvention of the beloved Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers TV series, following a group of ordinary high school kids who find themselves infused with extraterrestrial powers. They must harness those powers and stop an evil force from taking over the world.

Jeff Daniels signed on in April to play the franchise finale's villain, David, leader of the Bureau of Genetic Welfare. The Bureau created the Faction system that was put in place in this post-apocalyptic world. Robert Schwentke from a screenplay by Noah Oppenheim, Adam Cooper & Bill Collage and Stephen Chbosky. It isn't known when production will begin on the final Divergent movie at this time. What do you think about these release date shifts for Power Rangers and The Divergent Series: Ascendant?

Ascendant Infinity is a stylish tactical first-person shooter where four teams of three players compete to extract key resources in completely unique matches. The most prized of these resources are the biocores, of which there are only three in each match, so that means one surviving team might go without one depending on how the other teams perform.

Having woken up after a 1,000-year cryo-nap, players find themselves in a world shaped by an even known as the Cascade, which has resulted in this technological leap, specifically around biotechnology. You can customize your Ascendant Infinity player character with plenty of neon retrofuturistic attire, but you can also customize your weapons too, letting you craft your ideal looks and loadouts for slaying your foes and grabbing those biocores.

As seen in the trailer revealed at the Future Games Show, matches are kept fresh and dynamic thanks to dangerous events and a changing map full of interactable features. The environment, which mixes scientific facilities with exotic jungles and woodland, changes along with resource locations, enemy tactics, and more. By exploring the map, players may be lucky enough to call in destructive air strikes, battle horrific monsters for loot, take control of a monster yourself, or drive vehicles to help you get around quickly or blast your opponents.

With all this potential for all-out carnage, you and your teammates have always got to be on your toes, ready to adapt and outsmart your opponents to ensure you can extract safely with all your precious loot. Otherwise, it's back to the lobby, but don't worry as this hub is packed with things to do to prepare for the next match, whether that's 1v1 duels, altering your loadout, or chat to other players.
