We currently package our virtual machines for four different virtualization software options: VMWare, Hyper-V (Gen2), VirtualBox, and Parallels. These virtual machines contain an evaluation version of Windows that expires on the date posted. If the evaluation period expires, the desktop background will turn black, you will see a persistent desktop notification indicating that the system is not genuine, and the PC will shut down every hour.
@Doris2020 Did you select the ISO to download from -us/evalcenter/evaluate-windows-server-2019? As I said in my first reply, we cannot reproduce the issue using the image posted there. It does not prompt for a key. Can you provide any more details about your experience?
1. if you have downloaded evaluation version from Microsoft Volume License Service Center, then you can buy license from any authorize partner under Microsoft Open license program, and you get the key for activation which you can use for this evaluation version to activate.
2. If you downloaded this evaluation version from Microsoft.com, Then the above solution will not work and you can actually buy OEM license from any authorize partner and contact Microsoft activation support to activate the same.
If you download an evaluation version from the Evaluation Center, you can convert it to a production version by purchasing a retail key. From there, you can convert it to a volume license. However, you cannot convert an evaluation version to a volume version directly.
Is there a way to upgrade from windows server 2016 standard license ( no EVALUATION) to windows server 2019 using ISO method without the need to activate it in a second moment once the upgrade is over?
I am transitioning to a new job role that will focus heavily on using SCCM to keep end points patched, configuring applications, etc. My previous job role didn't focus on anything in particular really but i have been always interested in SCCM. Anyway i have setup a test lab for learning all i can about SCCM in a test environment as to not break crap in production. The issue is that when i downloaded the evaluation copy of LTSC 2021 from Microsoft and the license is automatically expired.
Am i doing something wrong? Anyway to reactivate this evaluation copy of windows. I am wanting to practice doing a "Build and Capture" deployment. Honestly if i can accomplish this with it being expired that works to. I don't plan on actually using this image except for in a test environment.
u-center is highly intuitive GNSS evaluation software that is easy to use, personalized, and compatible with leading u-blox technologies. u-center 2, the next generation of the software, supports the u-blox M10 platform, which is designed for asset tracking and wearable devices.
The u-center 2 quick product configuration allows users to define or apply GNSS product configurations for specific use cases. Saving, restoring, or sharing configurations between different products and users is easy. The software supports product evaluation with a choice of views to observe static and dynamic behavior of the connected u-blox GNSS receiver. The software enables easy setup and evaluation of u-blox GNSS services such as AssistNow.
The remediation code will then include a re-evaluation check to determine if the device meets the additional eligibility criteria, and if the conditions are met, the rest of the script proceeds. If the eligibility conditions are not met, this data is output to your Automox Activity Log for visibility.

I'm able to click "okay" and continue clicking on buttons in the software GUI, but various error messages continue to pop up whenever I try and do anything that would require the PC to interact with the evaluation board. For example, if I click on "Start Data Streaming" under the "Live ECG" tab, a window pops up that says,
Also, even though I have the USB driver installed and windows device manager says the connection is working properly, when I try and upgrade the Firmware using the ECG Recorder Firmware Update application, it says "no device is connected" in the "Click Update Firmware" box.
I'm using windows 10, and the requirements for the software say It's for windows 7, so it's possible that is the issue, but I'm confused as to how I should workaround that. If that isn't the problem, what should I do?
There are three short wavelength infrared (SWIR) optical windows outside the conventionally used first near-infrared (NIR) window (650 to 950 nm). They occur in the 1000- to 2500-nm range and may be considered second, third, and fourth NIR windows. The second (1100 to 1350 nm) and third windows (1600 to 1870 nm) are now being explored through label-free linear and multiphoton imaging. The fourth window (2100 to 2350 nm) has been mostly ignored because of water absorption and the absence of sensitive detectors and ultrafast lasers. With the advent of new technology, use of window IV is now possible. Absorption and scattering properties of light through breast and prostate cancer, bone, lipids, and intralipid solutions at these windows were investigated. We found that breast and prostate cancer and bone have longer total attenuation lengths at NIR windows III and IV, whereas fatty tissues and intralipid have longest lengths at windows II and III. Since collagen is the major chromophore at 2100 and 2350 nm, window IV could be especially valuable in evaluating cancers and boney tissues, whereas windows II and III may be more useful for tissues with high lipid content. SWIR windows may be utilized as additional optical tools for the evaluation of collagen in tissues.
KB article 948472 describes the process for Windows Server 2008 and includes instructions on installing an evaluation version of Windows Server 2008 from the standard media as well has how to set up a recurring task in Windows Task Scheduler to extend the evaluation period to 240 days.
Evaluating Windows Server 2008 software does not require product activation. Any edition of Windows Server 2008 may be installed without activation, and it may be evaluated for 60 days. Additionally, the 60-day evaluation period may be reset (re-armed) three times. This action extends the original 60-day evaluation period by up to 180 days for a total possible evaluation time of 240 days.
Despite this trick, it is correct and not contrary to the Microsoft license terms to convert the evaluation version to the normal one. To do this, you will need to run the command prompt as an administrator and follow the instructions below.
We are excited to share with you that Microsoft Cognitive Toolkit (CNTK) 2.1 has added support for model evaluation on UWP applications. This means you can harness the power of deep learning in your Windows apps delivered via the Windows Store! Read on to find out how can infuse your apps with the power of AI.
Currently, only C++ CNTK UWP bindings are supported. However, the sample demonstrates how a C# based UWP solution can perform model evaluation by referencing a WinRT library that wraps the UWP-compatible CNTK native components available on NuGet.
This NuGet package provides UWP-compatible CNTK components, including the OpenBLAS math library, for CPU-based model evaluation. ImageRecognizerLib exposes Create and RecognizeObjectAsync methods used to load the pre-trained CNTK model and classify the specified image input as an array of bytes.
I installed the software first from the download on your site, AD5501_04_evalSoftware.zip. I also tried removing and reinstalling the software from the included disc, though it appears to be the same installer. I tried manually loading the four .INF files that were added to the windows\inf folder by the installer, but none of them have digital certificates so Windows 10 will not allow them to install that way. If I try to manually update the driver from device manager, it does not find any applicable drivers. When I remove the unknown device from device manager and rescan or unplug and plug it back in it goes through the motion of trying to install it, but no change is apparent in the device manager list.
The software does not see any evaluation board present when loading. The hardware ID of the unknown device is usb\vid_0456&pid_b231 if that helps you confirm it is recognizing the right device. I found in another discussion a driver installer listed as ADI_PDA_Drivers.exe. When run that seems to install a driver listed in device manager as EVAL-AD5501EBZ. I can confirm the entry has the same hardware ID as the unknown device did previously so it is attaching to that device properly. The software still loads indicating no evaluation board found with the name of the dialog listed as ":-13108". If I select either AD5501 or AD5504 on launch it results in the same error. The board itself is the AD5504 version as it has the 4 output channels.
I was able to locate an older system with Windows 7 and confirmed the process it went through there to load the drivers worked. I then ran the evaluation software in compatibility mode for Windows 7 on the Windows 10 system and the driver installer kicked off as it had on the Windows 7 system. It appeared to load the same driver again even after I manually updated it from the C:\Program Files\Analog Devices\USB Drivers\PDA folder. The evaluation software did recognize it this time and I was able to control the device through the UI as expected.
For reasons I won't go into in detail, the Windows evaluation period expired for a VM running vCenter server for a project I work on. The license key they have does not match the media they installed from, so once they have the correct media, they're going to create a new VM with the OS install licensed properly and install vCenter Server/MSDE on it from scratch (the same way the other VM was built). What's the best way to pull over as much info as possible from the old vCenter instance? (We can't do linked mode because we can't log in to the old VM any more.)
