Gear up for Soldier Field Showdown III Soldier Field Showdown III is less than a month away - do you have your tickets? Don't miss out on all the excitement as thousands of Huskie fans and alumni fill Soldier Field for the big game! We have a full weekend of events planned to get you in the Huskie spirit. On Friday, August 31, start the weekend in style at our kick off cocktail reception at Millennium Park. Enjoy food, drinks, and the beautiful Chicago skyline as everyone gears up for the big game. Tickets Later that night, join the Huskie Athletic Support Fund at the official NIU pep rally at Kitty O'Shea's! Then, join us at Soldier Field on Saturday as we kick off game day at the official NIU Pregame Tailgate! We will have live entertainment, great food, and more for all the NIU fans who are heading into the stadium. Tickets for the game are still available, so if you haven't made your plans for Soldier Field weekend, spend it with the NIU Alumni Association!
