Salam all,

Based on
1. the verse from AlQuran that saidLaylatulQadr happens in ONE night,
2. the Hadith that said that the nite occurs on the last ten nites,
3. the Hadith that said that it occurs on odd number nites,
4. the views from Sahabat, Tabi'in and Grand Ulamas including the likes of 'Aisyah, Abu alDarda', AsySyafi'i, and a few others who said that if 1st Ramadhan were to fall on such and such a day, then LaylatulQadr would be on such and such a nite,
5. and my own conjecture,

I predict that this year's Blessed Nite is on the nite of the 27th Ramadhan (the Islamic nite of Thursday).

Bear in mind that ALLAH giveth His abundance to those He liketh and withholdth it from whom He liketh .. So dont lessen the chance ... Otherwise it defeats the purpose ...

This year, yes, and in syaa ALLAH will celebrate Raya on the same day as well ie, Sunday the 19th of August

yahoo! from today till 26th ramadhan, i will be happy going out shopping after break fasting & maghrib prayer. 27th no one could disturb me as i'll be submitting myself to the AlMighty. 28 onwards i'll resume shopping. houszat?

U dont get me brother,

When I say 'dont lessen the chance' meaning : increase ur devotion in other nites as well so as to increase the chance to qualify for His Benevolence, and dont even think to take the chance on 'free' nites thereafter, otherwise He thinketh as such .... as well !
