The WebSim project is now live. Lots of prizes, awards and Consulting
Contracts to be won!

So, Hurry Up!!
Seeing the enthusiasm of the participating students and requests from many
to provide more time for the first round, we have shifted the date for
closing the first round from May 16 to May 30th.

To assist the students further, we are planning to hold training classes
for participants and will provide its schedule and other details soon. The
contest prizes and other details will also be announced soon to contest
participants.

If you have not already registered for a WebSim account, you must register
for an account at https://websim.worldquant.com/welcome.html?src=contest.
Those who have already registered, please do not re-register. The official
contest rules will be posted on the website in the next 2 weeks and your
participation in the contest will only be considered once you accept the
contest rules. We will send another note once the contest rules and
click-thru are live on WebSim.

Participants in the first round will be notified by us if they are
selected for the final round. Participants will be tasked with developing
predictive models (alphas) to predict the financial markets.

Participants can submit as many predictive models as they want via
WebSim™, a web-based simulation platform.

Kindly fill in the attached excel sheet so that we can get to know about
student’s participation.
