Hi guys,

I'm sorry to bother you with such a newcomer question (and running
Windows, yeah).
When I download Nitro from Git it comes qith a simple example.
When I try to run such example by ringo config.js I get:

Wrapped java.io.IOException: Resource "nitro/middleware/setup" not
found or not readable (H:\Documents and Settings\Administrador
\Escritorio\nitro\example\config.js#1)
at H:\Documents and Settings\Administrador\Escritorio\nitro\example
\config.js:1

I tried different things like moving nitro directory to examples
folder and viceversa.
None worked for me.

Am I missing something?

Any help will be apprecciated... Thanks!

Hello Fabricio, haven't updated the nitro example lately, worked more
on the

appengine-blog-example (http://www.nitrojs.org/appenginejs/appengine-
blog-example.tar.gz)

I will have a look and get back to you shortly!

thanks,

try to move the nitro directory into

ringojs/packages/

alternatively you can use:

ringo-admin install gmosx/nitro

let me know if it works for you!

Dear George,

Great! Thanks for the help.
After sending this post last night, I tried copying nitro to the
modules, and fortunatelly it worked, although I know right now is a
package not a module.
Using the ringo-admin install gmosx/nitro worked fine.

Anyway I got this error:
Wrapped java.io.IOException: Resource "ringo/utils/objects" not found
or not readable (nitro/template.js#6)
at nitro/template.js:6
at nitro/middleware/render.js:15 (anonymous)
at H:\Documents and Settings\Administrador\Escritorio\nitro
\example\config.js:11

But doesn't matter, I will keep looking to the blog example.
I need to read more about Ringo before dipping my feet on Nitro I
think.

Thanks a lot for all your help!

you should pull the latest version of Ringo to get ringo/utils/objects.

let me know if everything works out.

Hey Mr G,

I needed to include also normal-template as package on my ringo installation package directory (manually copied because rigo-admin install command thrown weird errors... anyway it's windows).

The example worked like a charm except by the counter, but it isn't really important.
Something to do may be with the sessions configuration.

Thanks for all the help

I'm developing fine using windows.

The nitro blog example that uses app.yaml is all I needed to get going
