i just installed Linux on my lappy and i m so happy....
the speed is awsum....it shuts down in 3 sec...starts in arnd 5 sec.......
windows 7 previously installed OS on my DELL INSPIRON 15R series was very slow....hanged in time to time.....had to be rebooted eventually evrytime...
ughhh....i was just annoyed my lappy started behaving after just 2 months of purchase...
the real fun of having a lappy is now being experienced by me...
Who says it doesn't have a user friendly interface???? only they say who have a habit of "eating what they are given....drinking from d same source evrytime.......
Just expand ur horizons.....realise that there is much more than just MICROSOFT WINDOWS...after all...We r engineers...nt mango ppl...haha ..yes...nt "aam janta"...
if WE dont inspire ppl..then what? ppl would inspire us to install this OS?? bleh :/
and its nt just abt speed and interface....my internet speed , speaker volume , "quality time i spent on my lappy" , , etc....all have increased.....
m enjoying this Intel i3 processor's real capabilities now..
its okkay if i would nt be able to play counter strike now...but i have d equivalent alternative.... assaultCube....and guys...ther's much more in d world than gaming....spend ur time on learning how to develop those games instead of just wasting ur time and hurting ur eyes and mental health.....
