List of students who have been provisionally shortlisted subject to the eligibility criteria as mentioned below is attached with the mail. 

Eligibility

i)        Batch:  Passing out or passed out in 2013

ii)       Age:    Not more than 25 years (Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/PWD candidates and by 3 yrs for OBC (non creamy layer) candidates) as on 01-07-2013. Persons with 40% or more disability shall only be eligible for relaxation.

iii)     Cut-off % :  Students securing aggregate of 65% marks or more in BE/B.Tech./B.Sc-Engg (till last declaration of result). If CGPA/CPI system is followed by University/Institute, the minimum CGPA/CPI should be 7,6,5.3,4.6,4,3.3,2.5 on scale of 10, 9,8,7,6,5,4 respectively. In addition, the students should have passed in all subjects till the last result declared.

Schedule

Interview  is tentatively scheduled in 1^st week of August, 2013 at EIL HO, New Delhi. The exact schedule of interview will be intimated in due course.

Eligible student(s) called for interview shall be reimbursed to and fro 2^nd sleeper class rail fare from the present address ( as given in Application Blank) to Delhi by the shortest route on production of journey ticket/ticket number and details of travel.

The student(s) will be required to bring the following original mark sheets/ certificates along with the attested photocopies as documentary proof at the time of appearing for the interview:

 

· Proof of age ( Xth mark sheet & pass certificate)

· Educational qualification mark sheets & pass/ degree certificates ( XIIth/ Diploma, B.E./ B.Tech./ B.Sc. - Engg)

· Those belonging to SC/ST/OBC category should bring caste certificate from the competent authority.  OBC certificate produced by OBC candidates should clearly indicate that they do not belong to creamy layer.

· Those belonging to Persons With Disability (PWD) category must produce PWD certificate from competent authority, clearly indicating the type and degree of disability.

 

In the absence of any of the above documents or student(s) furnishing false information in the Application Blank, EIL shall not be in a position to allow the student for interview and in that case no travel expense shall be reimbursed.

  

Application Procedure 

If you are still available and interested for the process, you are required to send the filled-in soft copy of the Application Form, as per format attached with this mail. 

You need to send it to your respective PCs with a subject line  ' Application for EIL | <Name>| <Roll No> | '. 

Please make sure that the attachment is in PDF format, and the file is named as ' <Name> | <Department>'.pdf

If anyone is not interested please inform me latest by tomorrow morning 9:00 am. The student might need to sign an undertaking that he will have to join EIL if selected. Please inform the shortlisted students. I am not able to reach some of them.
