Beware of Fraud Calls

Dear All,

I faced a FRAUD call today pretending LIC, and sharing just for your awareness.

Got Call around 11:00 AM and went till 12:00 noon, with mentioning that they are from LIC HEAD OFFICE. They had my permanent address somehow, and then took other details from me saying CONFIRMATION.

It was quite a organized and professional team, with first a lady taking relevant details, and then passing it to a person over phone as FUND Claim Manager.
They were very sure and promising that they are from LIC HEAD OFFICE - DELHI with providing best customer support.

They took personal details, and later had plan to take a cheque / DD / Cash (with a proof copy) in name similar to Exide Company with reason that "My LIC Plan had 40% into Equity of Exide that went well and to claim this, an account with Exide is mandatory".

Now I have confirmed from LIC Branch, that no such employee exist and they are getting many such complains with loss of money.
(plus mentioned that In case there is any call regarding such info, it will always come from regional branch, and NOT head office. )
