NOTICE FOR THE 11TH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Dear Members,
Notice is hereby given to all members that the 11th ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING of THE N.I.T.K. Surathkal Alumni Association will be held on Thursday, the 6th of August, 2015 at 5:00pm at Main Seminar Hall, Main Building, NITK, Surathkal, to transact the following business;
A G E N D A
1. Welcome address by the Chairman.
2. To confirm and approve Minutes of the AGM held on 6th August, 2014.
3. To receive and adopt annual Report for the year ended 31.03.2015.
RESOLUTION: Resolved that the Audited Balance Sheet and Statement of Income & Expenditure, and Statutory Audit Report be accepted and approved.
4. To consider & approve appointment of Auditors for the ensuing year 2014-15.
5. Nomination of President for the next 4 (four) years. The term of current President, Mr. Gopala Bhupal, ends this year. Nominations are invited for the role of President. Mr. Gopala Bhupal may also offer himself for nomination.
6. Nomination of Secretary for the next 4 (four) years. The term of current Secretary, Mr. Shrinath Kulkarni, ends this year. Nominations are invited for the role of Secretary. Mr. Shrinath Kulkarni may also offer himself for nomination.
7. Nomination of Joint Secretary for the next 4 (four) years. The term of current Jt. Secretary, Dr. Suresh Kumar Y., ends this year. Nominations are invited for the role of Joint Secretary. Dr. Suresh Kumar Y. may also offer himself for nomination.
8. Nomination of Treasurer for the next 4 (four) years. The term of current President, Dr. Vijay Desai ends this year. Nominations are invited for the role of Treasurer. Dr. Vijay Desai may also offer himself for nomination.
9. Confirmation of minutes of AGM of Chapters.
10. To consider any other matter with the permission of the chair.
11. Vote of Thanks.
Please note that:
· If there is no quorum till 5.00 p.m. the meeting shall be adjourned for 30 minutes on the same day, at the same place, and at such meeting, the business on the Agenda will be transacted, whether there is quorum or not.
· Only an alumnus of NITK/KREC is eligible to attend and participate in the proceedings of the meeting.
· If any of the members require any clarification with respect to the above, they may submit their query by email on or before 24th July, 2015 to Secretary and Joint Secretary.
