Dear all,
JP Morgan India is hiring B.Tech students from 2016 batch for the role of 'Junior Analyst' in their Centralized Research Group (CRG) division.
Here is a brief description about CRG:
1) CRG has around 120 employees supporting JP Morgan investment banking offices in New York, London and Hong Kong. These employees are a mix of engineers (BITS Pilani, BITS Goa, NITK, DCE and NSIT), MBAs (IIM Kozhikode, IIM Indore, XLRI, MDI, IIFT among others) and Chartered Accountants
2) Role of employees is to help generate ideas for Mergers & Acquisitions, IPOs, bond offerings and investment banking operations
3) Employees are well integrated with front offices in New York, London and Hong Kong with an opportunity to work at foreign locations (around 2-3 months per year)
4) Purely corporate finance oriented role (No technology/operations profiles)
Remuneration and other facilities:
Fixed: Rs. 8.5 LPA
Annual Bonus: Depends on performance (minimum Rs 1 lakh and maximum Rs 1.75 lakhs - subject to change)
Relocation Bonus: Upto Rs. 30,000 (subject to change)
Perks: Rotational work trips around once per year to on-shore locations in US, UK and China and opportunities of permanent mobility to these locations if performance is highly rated
Food: The firm sponsors upto Rs. 300 per person worth of dinner for everyday that you stay back late and have dinner at your desk (which will be true for most of the days)
Transport: Shuttle services with designated stops which will be accessible from most of the locations in Mumbai for to and fro transport.
Cab drop to your location after 8PM (which, sadly again, will be true for most of the days) or reimbursement of the fare in cases when you use some other mode of transport (only after 8PM)
Location: Powai, Mumbai
Requisites
1) CGPA cutoff = 6.0
2) Finance coures/knowledge (HSM Electives, Coursera, NCFM, CFA etc.) is an added advantage but not sufficient
3) Open for all branches
4) Good aptitude/quantitative skills
5) Well informed about developments in financial markets
6) Ready to work in a challenging environment (cliche but I say this because engineers have to put in effort in the initial months to grasp finance concepts)
Selection Process (subject to change)
1) Resume short-listing and form responses
2) Aptitude rounds
3) In-person interview rounds
Please note that the interview rounds for short-listed candidates are likely to begin a little later (July-Aug) onwards in accordance with the annual cycle of the firm.
Have an amazing final few days!
Best,
Neil
