Dear Professors,
Greetings from DBIT,
We feel proud to announce that Don Bosco Institute of Technology (Mumbai), Department of Information Technology is organising first ever online national level contest based on final year project for IT, CS and EXTC branches.
The aim is to encourage research and technical paper writing among final year engineering students and giving them an opportunity to present their project ideas in front of the elite panel of judges from industry as well as academia.
The competition is the one of its kind where in the presentation /interaction between judges & presenter will be happening virtually over the internet.
In order to reduce the efforts in terms of Time & Money, the department has decided to go online and conduct the entire competition through virtual medium. Shortlisted papers will be presented by the participants through video conferencing software. Shortlisted candidates will have to make payment of registration amount (Rs 500/- per paper presented) through net transfer (for details refer to website). The presenters will be provided with required software and the installation procedure for the online presentation and they will be requested to be online for the presentation as per the schedule which will be displayed on our website (http://encore.dbit.in).
We request you to encourage your students to participate in “ENCORE’16” an Online Final Year Project Based Presentation Contest and get useful inputs from the panel of judges.
All the information related to the competition is uploaded on the website.
