Dear Fellow NITKians,

Swaniti Initiative (www.swaniti.in) was conceived with the goal of opening up the Indian polity and government. Currently we have three core areas of focus: opening up the government to youth (Fellowships), opening up the government for policy, governance and data (Governance Lab), and opening up the government for dialogue (Talks, Conferences and Online Platforms). 

We are looking for dynamic and passionate volunteers to help execute and shape our vision on the technology and open governance fronts. Swaniti is developing an online platform/database that would open up information on all Centrally Sponsored Schemes of the Government. We are also exploring the space of mobile applications for data collation from the grass roots.

We invite web & mobile app developers/interaction designers/database experts to volunteer with us.
