Job Profile:

Ø Knowledge of forging of Carbon Steel, SS.

Ø Monitoring technical factors and quality standards, procedures. Ensuring procedural adherence. Resolving unexpected issues related to technical as well as metallurgical defects.

Ø Improve productivity, control melting related rejection.

Ø Successfully leading a team of technical professionals, providing expert advice on metallurgical issues.

Ø Submitting monthly data of performance parameters to the department head / management along with proposals to eliminate bottlenecks in melting.

Ø Micro structure analysis, macro tests, metallographic tests, grain size tests, hardness testing, mechanical testing and failure analysis studies.

Ø Exposure in Process validation of heat treatment, Production/New Parts, Forging metallurgy, Heat Treatment.

Ø Provide engineering expertise in evaluating and identifying causes of quality problems originating from processing and handling operations.

Ø Evaluate data, conduct trials and recommend actions which eliminate causes of product non-conformance.

Ø Assist operations management in evaluating and modifying standard operating practices in relation to improved yield and product quality.

Ø Advise plant management regarding overall quality & productivity performance.
