Historic data for Waitlisted Students

Hi All,

It would be helpful if someone can provide with historic numbers till
which waitlisted students are called.

I know trends changes every year but it would be better for me to take
some decisions if I know my chances of getting into NITIE.

Hello Vaibhav,

The students upto waitlist 30 and so are generally called. Although this year we are expecting an increase in the number.

I'm happy to inform that I have been selected for PGDIE 2011-13 :)
But I need some clarification regarding the list of documents that are to be submitted.
What does the character certificate signifies ? from whom we have to get it ?

Hi everybody,

Congratulations!!

Character certificate is issued from your college or if working in an organization than from your authorities on leaving the respective organization.
If you are in college than just get a bonafide from your college telling them you need it for your admission to PG course. Just talk to your college office staff.

Hi Aditya,

I got the news that last year first waitlist was only upto 10 and you
said total shift in waitlist was 30.

How many waitlists are created as I find both the numbers non-
supportive.

Please provide a realistic number as I am working and need to take
decision based on my changes.

Can you please tell me who told you about this figure of 10? Its your wish to believe on the person handling the admission or believe the other source.

I am reiterating the statement that it was cleared till 25-30.

Thanks for your reply.My conduct certificate was issued in 2009(by university) and right now I'm not working in any organization and my previous employer too not issued any conduct certificate in that case the certificate from university is enough ?

This was the first wait list cleared.
After this 2 more waitlist got cleared. So if you sum up all the waitlisted candidates from all categories they are around 40 and 26 were called from General Category.

I have friends in my batch who were WL-25.
I would request you all to believe your seniors instead of analysing it over the net and drawing your own results. We are handling the admission process in whole and we know it better.
And, please concentrate more on preparing for NITIE and other colleges instead of focusing on number of Waitlisted candidates called.

Character certificate from your latest leaving organization is required. If that was ur college nd u didnt join anything in between it will do. Else if you have worked somewhere and u r showing it u need certificate from that place.

tentative date till when the last waitlist will be out.

I require this date because of project requirements. I have a new role
and they are waiting for my confirmation.
